When I think of the holidays, I think of pretty things, and happy things! I’m happy with my life, my work, my friends and family. Yes, things can get difficult sometimes, but you gotta just lift yourself up and force your brain to focus on some good things every day…and there are always good things, no matter how small. Those small happy things are very powerful, and you can make use of them by “giving them some play.” Know what I mean? Talk about em, tell people about em, write about em and build them up. Yep, that’s the way to get past all the unhappiness in your life. Focus on the good and let it grow!

Yeahhhhh!!!!!!! It's really here! Tomorrow, my friends, you will be able to see me and my best friend (and baby sis), Larissa Nakagawa (aka Lari) on MTV’s The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines! It’s airing on MTV at 10pm Eastern... For all you HUSKER fans & all of the midwest, it's 9pm Central, which meansssss, 7pm Pacific for all you beautiful peeps on the West coast. :") (Who knew I'd be giving y'all a lesson on coast times one day... ) Anyways!! It’s a date! Put it on your calendar, invite all your homies to your fancy theatre room, get some delicious snacks and settle in to see the start of all the crAYzeeness!!!

What a pleasure to be able to share such a special part of my life with one of the most special people in my life. Getting to compete on The Challenges along side this beautiful person, who also happens to be my baby sis is simply one of the best experiences of my life.

You know I mean that in the most loving way! I know it's a day early, but that's ok. I enjoy the holidays so much because it gives us all a chance to show how much we care about and love and support our friends and family – and I include YOU all in that group. My life is so much richer since I became a TV personality and extended my circle of acquaintances to all the borders of the United States and beyond!

Hope you all had an amazing weekend! I can't lie, I'm a little bit jelly of all of you who got to spend it next to your special lady this Mother's Day... For those of you that don't know, my mommy is miles and miles away from me in my home country, Brazil. Even though I truly miss her, I tried my best to be present via Skype and text messages (what a world we live in huh... Lol).
